The Tian Shan Policy Center (TSPC) invites bids from qualified media companies for a tender to realise a 15-minute documentary film on migrant workers from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan in the Russian Federation. Filming will take place in Kyrgyzstan and in a city of choice in the Russian Federation.
The documentary film is part of the TSPC’s two-year project on migration entitled “Building an Enabling Environment in the Kyrgyz Republic to Develop Effective Migration Policies: Promoting Capacity of Migration State Bodies and Promotion of Migration Studies in KR” (duration: 1 November 2014 – 31 October 2016).
Upon completion, the film will be shown in a TSPC-organised international migration conference, in the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic (Jogorku Kenesh) and the Russian Federation (Duma), as well as in mainstream media in Russia and Central Asia. The main language of the movie will be Russian and Russian subtitles will be provided where anyone of the participants speaks another language (ex. Kyrgyz, Tajik).
Interested media companies should send their bid, inclusive of a short film synopsis, costs break down and company registration in the Kyrgyz Republic no later than Friday April 5, 2016 at 12:00 to Ainur Tairova at tairova_a@auca.kg
