A memorandum of understanding was signed between AUCA (Dr.Bermet Tursunkulova) and Bakai Bank OJSC听听(Marat Yusupov, First Vice-Chairman) on April 2, 2021. As part of the MoU AUCA students will have the opportunity to undergo an internship at Bakai Bank. This internship can provide students with experience in banking sector, finances, audit, accounting, IT, jurisprudence, attracting clients, management, partnership building, public relations etc.
Bakai Bank is one of the largest financial institutions in the Kyrgyz market, ranking 3rd in terms of authorized capital. It has been providing banking services to individuals, small and medium-sized businesses and corporate clients since December 28, 1998. Bakai Bank is a bank with fully Kyrgyz capital, all of its shareholders are citizens of Kyrgyzstan.
First Vice-Chairman of Bakai Bank Marat Yusupov is the AUCA graduate. He graduated from International and Business Law department in 2003 and received an MBA in 2007.
