On March 14, the DAAD delegation paid an official visit to AUCA. The delegation, which consisted of 8 people, included representatives of various universities and non-university research institutions, associations, institutions and governmental organizations in Germany.

Melis Turgunbaev has been appointed head of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision.

On March 16th, the AUCA Library hosted a guest lecture titled "Literature in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" by Dr. Dennis Yi Tenenan from Columbia University. The lecture was attended by AUCA students, faculty, and staff members.

The AUCA Career Development Center (@development_auca) is happy to announce the Career Fair 2023, which will be held at the AUCA campus on April 15 from 11 AM to 3 PM!

This March AUCA鈥檚 Writing and Academic Resource Center (WARC) and the New Generation Academy (NGA) held the first university-wide Spelling Bee competition. It was a trilingual event, with contestants competing in one or more of the three language categories: English, Kyrgyz, and Russian.

On March 10, Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic - The Public Foundation "Plus" organised a career fair for people with hearing impairments as part of a project to reduce the vulnerability of this category of the population by raising their awareness of safe labour migration and the risks of human trafficking.

On March 15, the Journalism and Mass Communications department hosted a guest lecture by Prof. Dr Markus Ziener in the 鈥淎sk Me Anything鈥� format.

Computers love to read. And it鈥檚 not just fiction before going to bed. They read voraciously, all literature, all the time, in every sense of the word鈥攏ovels, encyclopedias, academic articles, private messages, advertisements, love letters, news stories, hate speech, and crime reports鈥攅verything is written, no matter how insignificant.

Alisher Norov, Student Affairs Coordinator, and Instructor at the European Studies Department, initiated, and successfully implemented the project 鈥� a series of workshops 鈥� 鈥淪ecurity,Conflict Management and Peacebuilding鈥� at AUCA.

On March 10, library staff held a final session for NGA students as part of the Information Literacy Club. Every year the library hosts an InfoLit Club for NGA students to develop their information literacy skills and to familiarize them with library resources
