On March 1, at the AUCA a spectacular event was held dedicated to the presentation of the project 鈥淔olk music and dances of the Kyrgyz鈥�. The author and director of the project is ethnochoreologist and ethnomusicologist, AUCA graduate,known under the stage name 鈥淢ariya Naumova - Orchestra Girl鈥�.

In 2023, Aiperi Stambekova graduated from the Environmental Sustainability and Climate Science Department. In February 2024, Aiperi was enrolled in a master鈥檚 program at the University of Oxford in the Faculty of Environmental Change and Management.

On February 21, 2024, David Lakhdhir, chairman of the AUCA Board of Trustees, officially laid down time capsule in the Makerspace Learning and Design (MLDC) building, which is under construction. This is a joint project of AUCA and Bard College (New York) supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

My name is Oybek Turaev, Software Engineering, 2024 鈥� graduate year. My exchange semester at Bard College, New York, was deeply rooted in my commitment to broadening my academic horizons and immersing myself in a diverse educational environment.

In a bid to address the pressing issue of gender-based violence and empower advocacy efforts within their community, the Fatima Club recently organized a transformative workshop. The event served as a platform for meaningful dialogue, education, and empowerment, with Professor Sharmistha Ghosh leading the discussion.

On February 21, 2024, David Lakhdhir, the Chairman of the AUCA Board of Trustees, met with Kanatbek Abdrakhmatov, the President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic. The meeting took place in the headquarters of the academy of sciences.

On February 27, 2024 the Business School of the American University in Central Asia (AUCA) organized the presentation of听Climate Change-Induced Migration听study. The research was conducted by Assistant听Professor of AUCA Business School听Kadyrbek Sultakeev听(Teamlead), Director of Ishte LLC听Cholpon Akhmatova, and Senior Analyst听Dastan Aseinov.
