Practical excursion to the Center for Standardization and Metrology under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic "Kyrgyzstandart"
On February 5, 2025, the students of the Faculty of Environmental Sustainability and Climate Science of the 番茄直播 (AUCA) visited the accredited laboratory for testing food and agricultural products of Kyrgyzstandart as part of the course "Food Security, Nutrition and Sustainable Development."
The tour aimed to get acquainted with modern food testing methods and standards used in the food industry. Candidate of Technical Sciences Asupova A.M. told this. During the visit, the students observed product testing processes by the technical regulations of the Customs Union (EAEU) in food safety. We also managed to visit the metrology laboratory, where the head of the Department of Metrology, A.S. Karymshakov, spoke in detail about metrology's role in trade and everyday life, emphasizing its importance for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measurements. The events contribute to developing practical skills among students and help them better understand the actual work in the general field of standardization, metrology, and food safety.
