Call for Submissions:听 First Year/Second Year Seminar Conference

听

We are pleased to announce the second annual First Year/Second Year Seminar Conference organized by AUCA's General Education Department. This year's conference theme is Humanity and Society. The conference-committee will review and accept first and second year seminar papers based on essays written in the Fall Semester of 2023. Authors of accepted papers will be asked to present their work in a panel format at the conference.
Submissions will be in the form of your seminar essay with an abstract, a brief 100-word summary of what your essay is about. Although your submission must be based on work submitted in FYS or SYS in Fall Semester of 2023, you are welcome to make improvements on it before submission.

If selected, you will present your work orally for 15 minutes in a panel with other student presenters followed by a Q & A session. The organizers of the conference will provide information sessions only to selected papers.
