Europe Summer Fest 2023

On Saturday, May 27th, 2023, AUCA and TSI participated in the Europe summer fest 2023, which was held in Yntymak Park. The festival allowed many to experience the atmosphere of European culture, trade, cuisine, and music. The events are organised in cooperation with the embassies of Germany, France, Estonia, Belgium, Croatia, Hungary, the Netherlands, Finland, and other European Union member states. National dances, games, costumes, and dishes were presented in the tents of the embassies.听

Hotel administrations, European brands and others also organised the holiday. Dishes of European cuisine and eco-products were presented to all visitors, and contests and performances were waiting for guests. In addition, events, games, quizzes and tournaments were organised all day on the main stage and in the Green, Digital and Youth Hubs in the Sports Area for children and adults. At the festival's closing, the Kyrgyz opera stars performed a medley of the most famous classical opera works.听

AUCA was represented by the Center for Civic Engagement in the Green Hub, where they talked about projects, grants and programs at the university level and many more. Within the framework of the Civic Engagement Center, such projects as the AUCA Sustainable Program, the Eco Park Project and the AUCA Green Program were created. Thanks to these initiatives, students collaborated with other institutions, such as the Town Hall of Bishkek, the French-Kyrgyz Ecotourism Association Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education and the Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System, contribute to the sustainable development of the campus and the preservation of the environment.
