AUCA students took part in the International Olympiad

Students of the departments "Applied Geology" and "Environmental Sustainability and Climate Science" took 3rd place in the IV International Subject Olympiad in the specialty "Hydrology.鈥�

On April 20-21, 2023, in Almaty, based on the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the IV International Subject Olympiad in the specialty "Hydrology" was held, which included directions on water resources and water use, integrated use and protection of water resources. Students from leading universities of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan came to the Olympiad, in total 9 teams.

The Olympiad was held to reveal creative abilities, select and support the most talented and gifted students; assist in the formation of the intellectual potential of students; involve students and young scientists in solving the scientific problems of our time, as well as to develop the interest of young people in scientific activities.

Students of the departments "Applied Geology" and "Environmental Sustainability and Climate Science" took part in the Olympiad.
