The AUCA鈥檚 Applied Geology Department participated in a photo contest, "Geology through the Eyes of Children."
On Monday, April 24th, the Foundation for the Development of Geology summarised the results of the photo contest "Geology through the eyes of children", where the participants were schoolchildren from 10 to 18 years old.听 The award ceremony of the competition was timed to the Day of Geologists, where veterans of the industry and honorary geologists of the country also took part.

The main rule of the competition was that the work should be done on the territory of Kyrgyzstan during 2022-2023.听 The photo contest was attended by students from different regions of the country, and 205 applications were sent to participate in the competition.

Geologist in the frame - portraits of specialists 鈥� geologists, geophysicists, geodesists, hydrogeologists and other specialised specialists at moments that convey their state and mood during work. In this nomination, the participant must provide a model release (the model's consent to the photo's publication).

After awarding the competition winners, the Geology veterans thanked them for participating and noted the importance of holding such competitions among school students and involving children in geology.
